Facilities Director Salary $60,000 - $70,000/yearly Full Time, Mercer County, New Jersey Who We Need : We are currently looking for a Full Time Facilities Director to join our team in Mercer County and oversee the Group Homes Maintenance Department . What We Need: Manages and directs the activities of assigned staff; coordinates prioritizes, and assigns tasks and projects; tracks and reviews work progress; inspects all work for conformity with plans and specifications. Plans and coordinates development and maintenance projects performed by assigned staff; provides technical assistance to staff and discusses job details with subordinate supervisors and staff. Supervise and coordinate the repair and/or general maintenance of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment at various sites, including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, grounds maintenance, including landscaping, and snow removal. Assign daily/weekly work assignments, projects, and routine maintenance tasks to the maintenance department staff Manage the overall planning of construction projects through all phases. Provide support with a sense of urgency and be able to communicate with leadership regarding all facility needs. Must be able to plan, organize, supervise, review, and evaluate the work of others. Training others in policies and procedures related to the work. Developing effective work teams and motivating individuals to meet goals and objectives. Interpreting, applying, and explaining complex federal, state, and local laws related to the areas of responsibility. What You Need: Bachelor's degree in a related field; AND five (5) years of facilities and grounds maintenance and construction experience at a management level; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Previous supervisory experience required Experience in carpentry, plumbing, repairs, electrical, painting, and general property maintenance is required. Valid driver's license that meets the agency's needs Under NJ Executive order #283 must be vaccinated against COVID-19, with booster shots (based on CDC eligibility), and provide proof of vaccination.
