Job Title: Event Assistant Location: Columbus, OH Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking an organized, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Event Assistant to support the planning and execution of events. As an Event Assistant, you will work closely with the event planning team to ensure seamless event coordination, from preparation to post-event follow-up. Your primary role will involve logistical support, vendor coordination, guest services, and administrative tasks to ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate event logistics such as venue setup, registration, catering, transportation, and technology needs. Communicate with vendors, clients, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Provide on-site support during events, including managing guest registration, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adherence to timelines. Handle event-related administrative tasks, including data entry, creating event schedules, and preparing event materials. Assist with social media, marketing materials, and event promotion when necessary. Assist in managing event budgets and tracking expenses. Post-event follow-up, including gathering feedback, sending thank-you notes, and organizing event materials. Skills and Qualifications: Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations. Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
