Job Title: Event Assistant Location: Jersey City, NJ Job Type: Full-Time Department: Events Team Job Summary: As an Event Assistant, you will provide vital support in the planning, organization, and execution of events. You will work closely with the Event Manager and the rest of the team to ensure the smooth and successful delivery of events from start to finish. Key Responsibilities: Help with setting up, breaking down, and managing event materials and equipment. Manage event registrations, guest lists, and ensure smooth attendee experiences. Provide on-site event support, ensuring everything runs smoothly during the event. Help with managing vendor relationships and ensuring all services are delivered as agreed. Provide administrative support to the event planning team, including data entry, paperwork, and preparation of event materials. Monitor event budgets and assist in keeping track of expenditures. Handle post-event follow-up including feedback collection and event reports. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
