This role offers the opportunity to represent clients in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, manage a dedicated caseload, and work collaboratively with a team of paralegals and support staff. The firm values a positive office culture, prioritizing client relationships and team engagement.DutiesRepresent clients in legal proceedings across New Jersey's Chancery and Law Divisions, as well as Pennsylvania's Register of Wills and Orphan's Court.Prepare and draft estate planning documents, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Trusts, and Guardianship pleadings.Ensure compliance with all relevant legal standards and regulations within Elder Law and Estate Planning.Oversee administrative and management functions, ensuring smooth legal operations and client satisfaction.Guide business and legal transactions, focusing on the needs of each client.Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes on behalf of clients.RequirementsLicensed to practice law in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.Minimum of 4 years of legal experience, with 2-3 years in Elder Law and/or Estate Planning preferred.In-depth knowledge of legal documents related to Elder Law and Estate Planning.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.Familiarity with Amicus Attorney Case Management Software is beneficial.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active Bar membership in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.CertificationsState Bar Certification(s) in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.SkillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.Ability to establish rapport and build trusting relationships with clients.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Empathetic approach, providing clients with comfort and assurance during challenging times.Detail-oriented, demonstrating precision and a commitment to quality.Team-oriented and collaborative mindset, with a focus on ethical and respectful conduct.Job LocationCinnaminson, NJBenefitsHealth insurancePaid time off (PTO)Retirement planSigning bonusQuarterly bonusesPositive and engaging work culture, with regular team events and celebrations
