Time Off earn 6 paid time days per year, earn 10 days vacation more with tenure, and 11 paid holidays.Location: Corporate Shop, Montrose, Illinois Reports to: Maintenance ManagerCompensation: $20-$25 per hourRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Leadership Characteristics: High School diploma or GED required Must have a good driving record and have a CDL Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with management and employees Possess a self-motivating personality as well as team building skills Have arc welding, wire welding, and/or torch welding experienceKey Responsibilities:1. Follow all established personnel and safety policies and procedures 2. Maintain and repair company owned equipment and facilities3. Acquire and maintain knowledge and understanding of the computer-controlled process in facilities4. Must have the ability to read wiring schematics and blueprints5. Have a working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems6. Attend training as directed by Maintenance Manager & Safety Director7. Assist locations and departments in-season as needed8. Design and installation of ammonia facilities Travel: The position may require travel to Effingham Equity facilities, meetings and seminars.Work Environment: While performing daily duties the employee will be working near moving mechanical equipment, in outside weather conditions, and may have exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Occasionally works in high precarious places. May require extended hours. Must be available for emergency breakdowns (nights, weekends, and holidays).
