This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in workers' compensation and civil litigation, specifically focused on personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated attorney with strong attention to detail, eager to contribute to a positive team dynamic while growing professionally within a supportive legal environment.Duties:Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in workers' compensation cases.Conduct thorough legal research and develop strategic approaches to meet client needs.Represent clients in hearings, negotiating settlements, and advocating for favorable outcomes.Collaborate with attorneys and other legal staff to prepare cases and gather evidence.Maintain and organize case files, ensuring compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.Build strong relationships with clients by providing clear explanations of their rights and options.Requirements:1-2 years of experience in workers' compensation law or related practice area.Active membership with the California State Bar in good standing.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing high-quality client service.A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the California State Bar.Skills:Knowledge of workers' compensation law and civil litigation.Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to effectively negotiate settlements and represent clients in hearings.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Benefits:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) retirement plan with company contributions.Paid time off (PTO).Complimentary parking.
