Entry Level - Underwriting Technician: Commercial Lines

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Process Binding Authority Monied, Non-Monied Endorsements and Additional Insured Endorsements Process Binding Authority Cancellations and Reinstatements Process Binding Authority Notices of Cancellation, Rescission Notices, Non Renewals Handle Follow-Ups as assigned to the group and/or assigned to the user Respond to client phone calls and emails in a timely fashion Qualification/Qualifications: Insurance experience desired Demonstrated skills and authority to process endorsements Issue solving skills to identify gather and organize details and provide recommendation Customer focused attitude and customer service skills to resolve inquiries quickly and effectively Good verbal and writing expertise Demonstrated initiative to complete assignments and obtain results Expertise to work in a team environment to support overall profitability initiatives Solid management skills including: time-management, prioritization and attention to detail Advanced familiarity with computers Strong math skills Education*: Insurance 101 New Employee Series (PIA) Business Skills (USLI, work with manager to determine which classes are best) *If a new associate, all classes should be taken within the 1st eighteen months of employment.
