As an Engineering Manager - Automation in Engineering Services, a typical day might include the following: * Leads development of automation and control solutions/technology/process for the power industry, keeping cost, schedule, and performance objectives in mind. * Assisting in portfolio planning and long-term strategy. * Performs management activities to attract, hire, supervise, and develop individual contributors and people leaders to meet the goals of the group. * Participating at external meetings and presenting at large internal meetings/forums. This job might be for you if you have: * B.S. in Engineering field or equivalent combination of education/experience * 8+ years of related engineering or management experience * Strong technical knowledge in automation & control solutions * Demonstrated ability to design/produce/support successful products/processes * Ability to manage product line/process problems requiring creativity, ingenuity, and guidance from manager * Strong desire to develop employees and lead projects * Ability to define general approaches and specific solutions to technical problems * Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills * Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities * Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications Project management experience LocationThis position is located in King of Prussia, PA.
