Requisition Summary Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an opening for an Engineering Intern on our Chassis Systems Team in our Engineering Division in Denton, Texas. Department or Program: Routing Support and Resolution of Field Issues Job Functions / Responsibilities Interns will support design engineers with their current programs by using Creo to design and evaluate proposals to improve cost, reliability and functionality. Additional projects may include but are not limited to: Create models and release drawings Identify cost reduction opportunities Determine root cause and drive corrective actions Skills / Competencies Demonstrated PC skills. Automotive background or interest strongly desired. Excellent technical, verbal, written and presentation skills. Expertise to work in a self-directed environment is preferred. Knowledge of Creo preferred. Education Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program with a mechanical engineering degree focus. Min requirements include completion of sophomore year in an engineering program leading to a bachelor’s degree.
