Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is a professional medical organization committed to the healing mission of Medicine. CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 35 locations throughout the Philadelphia area. We are currently hiring for a full time EMR Auditor. Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign on bonus. Responsibilities Manages and conducts specific audits to evaluate the completeness of medical record documentation Completes routine medical records audits for the following: AOB/HIPAA, education, Pin/SureScript, CVS, Warfarin, Clinical MU, prescription, eligibility/refunds/co-pays, missed appointments, alerts/medications, DEMO MU, and other audits as assigned. Always respects the patients right to privacy (HIPAA) and respectful of the confidentiality of all medical records. Works closely with management and clinical staff to track, communicate and chart audit results. Able to analyze data and provide feedback to management and clinical staff regarding audit results Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Requirements Extensive knowledge of Electronic Medical Records Physician office experience required Thorough knowledge of the healthcare industry General knowledge of medical terminology General knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security rules. Knowledge of state and federal rules and regulations related to the disclosure of protected health information required. Must be extremely detail oriented and organized Benefits Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia provides medical, vision, dental, 401k, profit sharing, LTD, generous PTO, and paid holiday time. *If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
