This role involves handling a variety of employment-related cases, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour disputes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for employee rights and a strong background in employment litigation.DutiesManage a caseload of employment litigation matters, such as wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour claims.Draft and prepare legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy and motions.Participate actively in mediations and depositions, representing clients effectively.Work closely with fellow attorneys and support staff to achieve favorable case outcomes.Requirements2-5 years of experience in employment litigation (preferred).Strong writing and verbal communication skills.High level of organization and attention to detail.Must be a member in good standing with the California State Bar.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.CertificationsActive California State Bar membership.SkillsProficient in drafting and managing employment-related legal documents.Excellent research and analytical skills.Effective communicator, both written and verbal, with strong advocacy abilities.Ability to manage multiple cases with organization and efficiency.Team-oriented approach to case management and collaboration.BenefitsDental, health, and vision insurance.Paid time off.Supportive work environment dedicated to employee rights and justice.
