The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, particularly in defending and litigating employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and contract disputes. This role offers the opportunity to represent employers in a variety of legal forums, including court, administrative agencies, and arbitration.Location:Philadelphia, PADuties:Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a wide range of employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employment torts.Represent clients in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration.Advise and counsel employers on employment law issues, including workplace policies, employee relations, and compliance with federal and state regulations.Provide training to employers on employment law matters and best practices.Handle class and collective actions related to employment matters.Manage and prioritize multiple litigation matters in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment or commercial litigation.Employment law background is strongly preferred.Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing.In-depth knowledge of state and federal employment law, including agency procedures (e.g., EEOC, state-level agencies).Strong written and oral communication skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.Ability to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Strong commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and collegiality.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.Certifications:Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (required).Skills:Experience in employment and commercial litigation.Knowledge of employment laws, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour issues.Experience with class/collective actions and employment-related disputes.Strong advocacy skills for court, mediation, and arbitration settings.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.Ability to manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced environment.Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.Benefits:Competitive salary (commensurate with experience).Health insurance and other benefits (details provided upon inquiry).Paid time off (PTO).Retirement and other employee benefits (details to be provided).
