This role focuses on representing plaintiffs in employment-related cases, providing comprehensive legal representation from initial consultation through trial or settlement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for employment law, strong litigation skills, and a commitment to protecting the rights of workers.DutiesConduct in-depth legal research and analysis on employment law and case precedentsDraft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, oppositions, briefs, and other legal documentsNegotiate with opposing counsel or parties to achieve favorable resolutionsRepresent clients in court hearings, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and other proceedingsMaintain consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progressUphold high ethical standards and professionalism in all interactions and caseworkRequirementsExperience: Minimum of 3 years in plaintiff employment law or a similar litigation-focused roleLicensure: Active California State Bar membership requiredSkills: Strong written and oral communication skills, with a high level of analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExperience in Employment Law: Knowledge of California employment law, with a focus on worker rightsEducationDegree: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolCertificationsBar Admission: Active license to practice law in CaliforniaSkillsProficiency in legal research, document drafting, and trial preparationExcellent negotiation skills with a client-centered approachAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamStrong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing caseloadsCommitment to high ethical standards and professional integrityBenefits401(k) plan with employer matchingHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offFlexible schedule Trial attorneys at this law firm are focused on employment law and aggressively that take on only a few cases a year.
