The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience working with employee benefits and executive compensation matters. The role involves advising clients on the design, implementation, and maintenance of tax-qualified retirement plans, health and welfare programs, and non-qualified deferred compensation plans. Candidates should be skilled in analyzing and drafting health and welfare plans, as well as handling ERISA fiduciary matters and MA transactions related to benefits.Location:Cincinnati, OHDuties:Advise clients on a broad range of employee benefits and executive compensation issuesDesign, implement, and maintain tax-qualified retirement plans and health welfare benefit programsDraft non-qualified deferred compensation plans, incentive plans, and severance pay plansCounsel clients on ERISA fiduciary matters and complianceManage employee benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions (MA) transactionsProvide legal guidance to publicly traded corporations, privately owned companies, financial institutions, and tax-exempt organizationsConduct analysis and drafting related to health welfare and qualified plan issuesRequirements:3 to 6 years of experience in employee benefits and executive compensation lawDemonstrated ability to analyze and draft health welfare and qualified plan documentsExperience with ERISA fiduciary matters and MA transactionsStrong work ethic and ability to manage client relationships effectivelyExcellent legal research, writing, and analytical skillsEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdictionSkills:Proficiency in employee benefits and executive compensation regulationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent drafting and writing abilitiesAbility to work independently and within a teamStrong client communication and relationship management skillsBenefits:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and career development This prestigious general practice firm manages its practice groups efficiently and matter-of-factly.
