Emergency Medicine opening in Goldendale, WA Located 70 miles from Yakima; 120 miles from Vancouver, WA Details: - Seeking a full-time physician to join an exceptional ED team. - Physicians work 24-hour shifts, average census is 14 visits/day. - The ER is staffed with one physician, one RN and one ED Tech. - LifeFlight base only 30 miles away allowing for extremely fast air transfer response time. - Comfortable sleep room near ER available for physician on duty. Comp/Benefits: - Competitive salary of $165.00 - $165.00 Hourly- Signing bonus- Full-time benefits are offered at six 24-hour shifts per month. Benefits package includes M/D/V/Rx, Short & Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, Retirement, Paid Time Off, CME, license and professional membership fees, and malpractice insurance. - Temporary housing and relocation assistance are available. Medical Center Details: Rural, critical-access hospital (trauma level 4) located only two hours from Portland along the breathtaking Columbia River Gorge. The hospital offers emergency and acute inpatient care and a full scope of ancillary services including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Wound Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, PT / OT, Behavioral Health, Dental, Optometry, Retail Pharmacy and Hospice. The hospital also owns a busy, well-established primary care and same day appointment clinic that is located on hospital campus. Inpatient care is managed by 24/7 Hospitalist staff. The hospital employs 300 staff and is one of the largest employers in the county.
