Electronics Test Engineer Ashton Under Lyne£33,000-£35,000 My Client who is a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking an experienced Electronics Test Engineer to join their team. Electronics Test Engineer Requirements: Formal Electronics qualification HND or BTEC level 5. A demonstrable background in Electronics testing and diagnostics. CAD or PCB design skills would be an advantage. Experience with Electronic Test Equipment such as: Multi-meters Power Suppliers HV Testers Oscilloscopes. Electronics Test Engineer Duties: Design and build of custom test fixtures for new product development and routine manufacture in conjunction with the Engineering team. Maintenance and organisation of the test/repair department and equipment. Manage calibration of test equipment using appropriate third-party resource Routine tests of manufactured products. Investigation/repair/modification of returned products as may be required. Regular statistical analysis of returned product data and creation of reports and associated improvement plans. Design and build in house or subcontracted of custom test fixtures Review and scrutiny of test specifications, provision of feedback to design engineers.
