Posting/External Job Title Facility Electrical Engineer Location Chantilly, VA 20151 US Springfield, VA 22153 US (Primary) Remote/Onsite/Hybrid 100% Onsite Job Type Full-time # of Hires Needed 2 Education Bachelor's Degree Travel None Security Clearance Required TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Pay Range (All offers will be based on experience) $125,000.00 - $210,000.00/yr Position Introduction/Key Duties Cimarron is seeking an experienced Facility Electrical Engineer with a background in facilities power systems and distribution to support a government facility in Springfield, VA and Chantilly, VA. This job is supporting a direct-hire, full-time/benefitted job with Cimarron. Key Duties: Maintain existing electrical equipment. Design and oversee new power distribution system installations and upgrades. Manage electrical engineering projects from conception through completion, coordinating with architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with specifications and codes. Perform detailed power distribution and load calculations, ensuring facility electrical needs are met effectively and efficiently Oversee the integration, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including safety and performance checks to ensure reliability and efficiency. Ensure all electrical designs and implementations adhere to local, national, and industry safety standards, including NEC and OSHA requirements. Required/Desired Skills, Experience, and Education Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Due to facility requirements, only U.S. Citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance. 5 or more years of experience. Experience with facility power and distribution including: Power Distribution Units Master Distribution Panels Switchgear Familiar with Arc Flash software. Experience with short circuit analysis. Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline. Desired Skills, Experience, and Education: 15 or more years of related experience.
