Profit Sharing Excellent bonus plan Amazing health benefitsJob DetailsJob Details:We are on the hunt for a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Permanent EH&S Manager to join our team in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of safety and well-being throughout our organization. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in EH&S, risk assessment, occupational health, safety management, and industrial hygiene. Experience in the food manufacturing sector is a plus.Responsibilities: Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the EH&S programs in line with the company's goals and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines. Ensure the organization complies with all current health and safety legislation, and any future legislation that becomes applicable. Provide guidance and training to staff on health and safety protocols. Lead investigations into any incidents or accidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions. Prepare comprehensive reports on EH&S performance for the plant manager and senior management. Promote a positive safety culture within the organization through communication, training, and accountability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive EH&S initiatives.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an EH&S role, preferably within the manufacturing sector. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant health and safety regulations. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification is preferred. Excellent understanding of risk assessment and management principles. Experience in policy development and implementation. Proven ability to conduct training and awareness programs. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EH&S management systems. Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus.
