Job Posting: E-commerce Product Shipper Company: Goodwill Industries of Northeast Texas Location: Sherman, TX Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview: Goodwill Industries of Northeast Texas is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual for the role of E-commerce Product Shipper. This role is key to our growing online sales efforts, and we're looking for someone with a knack for organization, effective communication, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Responsibilities: Price items competitively, selecting those suitable for Shop Goodwill or store return. Write, proofread, and post clear and engaging item descriptions, and photograph items for online listings. Manage item listings on shopgoodwill.com and other online marketplaces. Monitor inventory daily and respond to all customer inquiries within 24 hours. Process customer orders, including item selection, packaging, and shipping using UPS, FedEx, or USPS standards. Maintain packing supplies and process payments, returns, and refunds as necessary. Move and organize inventory as required; maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Adhere to safety standards and promote courteous communication with team members. Qualifications: High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred; relevant training and experience may substitute. Knowledge of jewelry, including antiques, metals, and stones, is required. Strong communication, writing, and photography skills. Basic math skills; ability to follow instructions and work independently. Physical capability to stand, bend, lift, and reach for extended periods; must lift at least 40 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and internet use; experience in antiques, collectibles, books, and eBay is a plus. Minimum age requirement: 18 years. Special Skills: Inventory management and organizational skills. Knowledge of budgeting and cost maintenance is beneficial.
