Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints; measure the material to be cut and fit to cover walls and ceiling. Measure and cut metal runners and studs to size. Understand how to place and secure the drywall sheets on metal or wooden studs and/or joists. Tape joints, apply the compound as needed, and allow walls to dry; sand walls and ceilings to remove any excess compound. Ability to use all hand and power tools of the trade. Cure freshly prepared surfaces. Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster using trowels, floats, brushes, and spraying equipment. Create surfaces as per design. Perform other related duties as required. Job Requirements: Completion of Secondary Education is usually required. Some work experience would be considered an asset. Ability to communicate in English. We offer $27.50/hr for 40 hrs. /week. Location of work: Sicamous and nearby sites Please send your resume to detailing your work experience.
