Become an essential part of our growing team at MG Moving Services as a dependable Driver, contributing significantly to our relocation crew. - At MG Moving Services, we highly value the commitment and respectful attitude of our drivers, recognizing their vital role in our day-to-day functions. - As a Driver in this lively position, your primary responsibilities will involve carrying out relocation tasks, operating company vehicles, and guaranteeing the safe and prompt transport of our merchandise to customers in Richmond, VA. Responsibilities:• Drive single vehicles with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) not exceeding 26,000 pounds in Richmond, VA, US• Handle freight loading and unloading using appropriate equipment safely and efficiently• Ensure that cargo is packed and arranged securely within the vehicle• Keep accurate driving and delivery records up to date• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform necessary maintenance tasks• Adhere to DOT delivery schedules and rest requirements• Maneuver and park large trucks and buses as needed in Richmond, VA, US• Navigate routes using GPS or other routing systems effectively• Practice and prioritize safe driving practices at all times• Follow all driver and vehicle regulations outlined by DOT• Utilize basic technology for communication and operational purposes• Abide by the MG Moving Services Policies and Procedures for drivers in Richmond, VA, US Qualifications:• Must have a valid driver's license that is current and in good standing• Required to successfully pass background checks, drug screenings, and driving record verifications• Expected to maintain a consistent and reliable attendance record• Ability to work flexible hours, which may include weekends, holidays, and overtime shifts• Capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds• While not mandatory, experience in operating electric lifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks is advantageous Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly About Company: Are you looking for a rewarding career with an award-winning company that is growing nationally?
