Department: Therapeutic Recreation Summary: Operates a motor vehicle to perform various duties involving the transportation of Residents, Mozaic Senior Life Reports To: Facilities Supervisor, Director of Resident Life Hours: Per Diem Essential Responsibilities : Transport Residents to special events and other locations as directed. Follow safety regulations of the vehicle, including loading and unloading Residents in wheelchairs. Refine vehicle after each trip for future use. Detect faulty operation of motor vehicle and notify supervisor of need for service. Observe traffic laws; follow safety regulations. Maintain vehicle and work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Education : High School Diploma or GED preferred Experience : 1-2 years of related experience Licensure : Connecticut CDL license - required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities : Ability to handle multiple demands and deadlines; Ability to read and communicate effectively.
