We are bidding on a contract supporting the Fort Johnson Network Enterprise Center. This is contingent upon a successful contract award to Oneida Technical Solutions. Job Description: IT Project Manager Location: Fort Johnson Clearance Level: Secret Clearance Compliance: DOD 8140 Position Overview: The IT Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects at Fort Johnson. This role requires a strategic leader with strong technical expertise, project management skills, and experience in managing cross-functional teams. The candidate must ensure all projects align with organizational goals, meet deadlines, and stay within budget. Compliance with DOD 8140 regulations and maintaining a Secret Clearance are mandatory for this position. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage IT projects from inception through completion, ensuring they meet scope, time, and cost constraints. Develop project plans, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines. Coordinate and communicate effectively with stakeholders, team members, and external partners. Oversee risk management, quality assurance, and change management processes. Ensure compliance with DOD 8140 standards and guidelines throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular project updates to leadership, including status reports, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies. Manage project budgets, resources, and procurement activities, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization. Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring project milestones are achieved. Implement best practices in project management, adhering to industry standards and organizational policies. Ensure documentation and project artifacts are maintained according to organizational standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within a government or military environment. PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable. In-depth knowledge of DOD 8140 compliance requirements and experience in maintaining security clearances. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Agile, Waterfall). Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure. Experience working in a DOD environment and familiarity with military protocols and procedures is a plus. Additional Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Compliance with all DOD 8140 certification requirements.
