Distribution Designer / Engineer / Planner - Remote Position but willing to relocate to the Seattle areaSELECT Power Systems is looking for both Distribution Designers and Distribution Engineers for overhead and underground distribution work with a client in the Seattle area in the utility industry and this will be a remote work from home position once in the Seattle area. Must have two years of previous experience working as a distribution engineer or designer in the utility industry. JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide design / engineering services for overhead and underground electrical distribution lines from meter to substation Generate engineering drawings using AutoCAD Troubleshoot distribution lines Carry out projects according to schedule and budget Communicate project status to various internal and external parties JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 2 years of electrical distribution design experience For designers an associates degree is desired but not necessary as long as you have 5+ years of experience For engineers an bachelor's degree is needed and having there EIT or PE would be a bonus Experienced user of AutoCAD, Microstation, AUD, Pole Foreman or O-Calc is a plus Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Good organization skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance SELECT Power SystemsEOE Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Disabled.Powered by JazzHR
