Job Summary The Dir, Provider Strategy role is a key member in the delivery of provider operations at Lucet and a strategic and operational partner to the VP, Provider Success. This position assists the team's day-to-day operations by serving as an air traffic controller for the leadership team, an integrator connecting work streams that could otherwise remain siloed , and a communicator linking the leadership team to the broader organization. This role collaborates with provider identification, recruitment, credentialing, contracting, data, engagement, and value-based arrangements. This is a dynamic role in a fast-paced, growing organization that exercises exceptional decision making, critical thinking, project management, and prioritization, to ensure the Provider Success team is focused on the continued growth and performance of provider partners. Essential Functions Partner with the team to negotiate and respond to provider RFPs, agreements, and contracts to expand the relationships of the current network for broader product strategies and needs while maintaining and optimizing the current contracts and provider relations. Ensure efficiency and productivity, streamlining business initiatives, tackling special projects, kicking off new initiatives, strengthening processes, and communicating cross functional objectives. Assist in managing deliverables and projects of direct reports to the VP, Provider Success. Collaborate with cross-functional team and providers to translate business strategy and business needs into provider operations resulting in value and quality care. Foster an environment of innovation and collaboration to ensure provider satisfaction and operational excellence in products. Assist in driving contract implementations and maintain delivery of contracts in a timely and reliable manner. Control the flow of communication between providers and the onboarding, contracting, provider growth and provider engagement teams, making sure that initiatives and operations achieve expected results and projects stay on time and within budget. Serve as customer operational expert - both for existing and potential areas of partnership Assist on various projects, sales presentations and materials, RFP responses, provider manual and providing internal suggestions to enhance the provider experience. Responsible for addressing escalated high-level complex issues and communicating resolution in a professional manner to minimize or avoid disruption to services and product. Stay current with healthcare industry and assigned market trends, policies, practices, and workflows. Analyze and identify areas of continuous improvement within internal processes and systems impacting providers, recommend mitigation strategies, and support implementation of improvements through providing clarity, building efficiencies, automating processes, etc. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time is required. Events that require travel include but are not limited to; provider site visits, conferences, provider town halls/training events. Complies with all Federal and applicable State laws and Lucet policies regarding privacy, confidentiality and security of health information and other designated information. Job Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree 5+ years of account management, client relationship, customer support, or consulting experience within healthcare field Industry experience with provider networks, payors, insurance Customer service mindset to drive "Provider Partner of Choice" Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships Project management and change management disciplines. Proven track record of innovation; 'build' mindset Proficient in computer software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Excellent, demonstrated verbal and written communication skills Well organized and demonstrated leadership skills including flexibility and the ability to manage multiple, and sometimes competing priorities while delegating and follow- through where needed. Strategic thinker, analytical, data-driven and has the ability to influence through respect and trust. Must be able to multi-task under pressuring deadlines. Must have a strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems, both independently and as part of a team. Will demonstrate the ability to develop cohesive solutions that benefit the entire organization. Preferred Experience walking users through technical applications. Experience with in-depth data analysis. Working Conditions Work is performed indoors in a remote, home setting or typical office environment- not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Frequent exposure to VDT screen. Frequent use of office machines to include telephone, copier, computer, and fax machine. Must be able to constantly remain in a stationary position, communicate and exchange information with others, inspect information, perform repetitive motions with arms and fingers, interpret data, problem solve, make decisions, organize and plan, and maintain a positive and professional attitude in all situations.
