A company is looking for a Director of Underwriting and Stop Loss Services to lead and mentor an underwriting team in managing risk for various insurance programs. Key Responsibilities Lead a team in collecting and analyzing financial data to support client activities Collaborate with actuarial, claims, and finance departments for comprehensive risk assessment Manage the Stop Loss Centers of Excellence and maintain relationships with carrier partners Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field Professional designation (e.g., CPCU, ARM) preferred Minimum of 10 years of underwriting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role Experience with fully insured and self-funded benefit programs Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and actuarial principles related to employee benefits
