We are seeking a dynamic team player who can engage with our team as the Director, Traffic Insights. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a robust analytical background and a passion for the digital media landscape. This role will be responsible for analyzing, understanding and forecasting traffic trends across Raptive’s 5000+ websites, highlighting trends and risks. This role will work closely with business and product leaders across the company to identify strategies to increase sustainable high-value traffic from across all sources. Raptive’s largest traffic source today comes from search. Raptive’s other primary traffic sources include social, Pinterest, email referral and direct entry. While some reporting exists today, this resource will partner with our Data Insights team to build traffic and performance reporting for leverage across the company and will use that reporting to derive insights that turn into actions that drive results. What you’ll be doing: Lead the Traffic Insights function, driving initiatives to analyze data for strategic decision-making Develop methodologies for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on traffic data, including audience engagement, platform trends and content reach Collaborate with product, marketing and creator experience teams to provide insights that inform content strategies for creators and product features Stay abreast of industry trends and use insights to maintain a competitive edge Present complex data in an accessible format to executive teams and stakeholders, influencing company-wide strategies Partner with various stakeholders across the company to forecast traffic as a part of our annual planning process The skills and experience you bring to the job: Minimum 8 years of experience in analytics, preferably in digital media, content distribution, or a related industry Proven track record of driving results through data-driven insights Expertise in analytics tools and software (e.g., Sigma, Google Analytics) as well as Google Sheets Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable strategies Familiarity with SEO and perspective on Google SGE and other AI products that will impact traffic acquisition Familiarity with social platforms and the role they play in referring traffic to publishers, especially Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest Innovative mindset with a passion for staying at the forefront of industry trends About Raptive Raptive’s mission is to power creator independence. The range provided is Raptive’s reasonable estimate of the annualized base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, geographic location, knowledge, skills and abilities.
