We're extremely passionate about providing exceptional services in beautiful, upbeat, and welcoming spaces that make your appointment something to look forward to!POSITION OVERVIEWThe Director of Product will lead the development and execution of our product ecommerce business within S+B's established multi-unit brick and mortar retail concept. The Director of Product will be a confident self-starter tasked with creating new systems and enhancing current processes from start to finish.RESPONSIBILITIES Establishing relationships with new and existing co-manufacturer(s) to successfully transition current solution and retail product business. Working collaboratively with Exec team, Operations, and Marketing to develop new and innovative products. Project managing supply chain and product lifecycle, from conception of the new product to sourcing materials, managing the contract manufacturers, to shelving the products in our shops (and everything in between!). Forecasting product sell-through and replenishment needs for both e-comm and in-store while establishing goals and KPIs for in-store retail penetration and online sales. Setup 3PL relationship for DTC and in-house fulfillment. Working with formulators to develop new products. Determine product pricing and positioning strategies by conducting and utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume. Partnering with the marketing team on packaging design, sampling programs, in-store merchandising needs, marketing materials needed to support product line and ecommerce, and go-to-market strategy. Working with Operations Department to provide new product knowledge and education for staff. Grow Google Shopping and Amazon as 3rd party retail channels.REQUIREMENTS 5-7+ years of proven experience in creating scalable systems within a fast-growing cosmetic company. A motivated self-starter who is comfortable with autonomy and committed to making business decisions that benefit S+B and the end consumer. Experience working with manufacturers in the beauty industry (or related). Experience with specialty beauty and big box retailers preferred.
