Lead the development of innovative beauty products that meet diverse customer needs.Kitsch designs and sells revolutionary hair and beauty products.Responsibilities: The Director of Product Development will lead product strategy design and vision, continuously innovating by analyzing data and developing meaningful metrics. This role involves communicating the "why" and "who" behind new SKUs to the team. The Director will be responsible for product enhancements and redesigns, ensuring the execution of the product roadmap. The position requires tracking sustainability efforts and demonstrating leadership in building and managing the product development team. The candidate will be the main point of contact for the entire company regarding product launches and must meet or exceed established product development milestones. Budget management and cost control within the product development department are key responsibilities. Strong project management skills are necessary to ensure timely delivery of product launches and to meet established milestones.Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, product design, or a related field is required for this role. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing product development teams. Experience in leading and developing talent at various levels is essential for this position. A strong understanding of market trends, consumer insights, and the competitive landscape is necessary. Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and achieve profitability targets within the product development department is crucial. The candidate should have proficiency in utilizing data analysis to inform product decisions and measure performance. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
