A company is looking for a Director of Loss Forecasting to drive lending strategy and credit risk management. Key Responsibilities Develop and enhance loss forecasting models using statistical techniques and machine learning Perform scenario analysis and drive strategic initiatives focused on risk mitigation and portfolio optimization Lead the development of reports and dashboards for senior management and manage lender relationships Required Qualifications and Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) preferred 5+ years of experience in credit risk, loss forecasting, or financial modeling in consumer lending Strong knowledge of loan lending products and consumer credit behavior Proficiency in statistical software and tools such as Python and SQL
