Key Responsibilities : Leadership and Strategy : Provide direction and leadership for the navigation systems and software management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Community Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, members, and staff, promoting inclusion and engagement of diverse populations. Data Analysis & Reporting : Drive the Community Health data dashboard, conduct predictive analysis, and lead the development of strategies to improve program delivery and impact measurement. Software Management : Oversee and support current software packages used in the department, such as Unite Us, SureImpact, and FindHelp. Strategic Planning : Develop and implement proactive strategies for navigating friction points in delivering community health programs, services, and initiatives. Budget Management : Lead the preparation and execution of departmental budgets, including accurate forecasting and financial analysis. Team Development : Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging professional development and leadership within the staff. This position is based on-site and requires regular in-office presence, allowing for direct collaboration with the Community Impact team and hands-on engagement with community partners. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in operational leadership, data management, or a similar role. Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse groups of people. Demonstrated skills in data analysis, visualization, and impact measurement (proficiency with Excel Level 3, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI). Experience with community resources and an understanding of how to partner with organizations to achieve strategic objectives. Proven ability to adapt to a continually evolving environment and lead through change. Desired Skills : Strong organizational and analytical skills. Excellent abstract reasoning abilities. Experience with project management, strategic planning, and performance measurement. Ability to manage multiple software systems and provide team support for ongoing usage. Impact : The Director of Navigation Systems will play a crucial role in ensuring that the YMCA of Greater Richmond effectively aligns business and operational functions, positioning the organization as a leader in advancing community health initiatives. Success in this role will be reflected in strong teamwork, positive relationships with staff and the community, and measurable program impact. COMPENSATION/BENEFITS: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including health benefits, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities in a supportive work environment.
