Responsibilities:• Manage all financial transactions and oversee the financial health of the organization• Purpose: Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with regulations• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls• Purpose: Maintain financial stability and safeguard assets• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review• Purpose: Provide insights for decision-making and strategic planning• Coordinate and oversee audits and ensure timely completion of tax filings• Purpose: Ensure compliance and transparency in financial reporting• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement• Purpose: Develop a high-performing team and promote professional growth Qualifications:• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent communication and leadership abilities Compensation: $3,500 Monthly Stipend About Company: Through arts education programs and more, Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center enriches the lives of thousands of underserved youth in the Maryland, D.C., and Virginia school systems, empowering them to develop their artistic talents and achieve their greatest potential. Our arts education instruction includes dance, theater, music, visual arts, media arts, creative writing, STEAM, culinary arts, Yoga, martial arts, and gardening.
