Job details: Responsible to develop key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans that facilitate the sales teams expertise to meet annual defined revenue and margin goals. Identify and develop strategic relationships with Federal customers, OEM Partners, and the Federal Systems Integrator (FSI) community. Accurately maintain sales forecast by tracking strategic pipeline, market trends along with economic indicators, and Federal Agency budgets and priorities. Primary Position Tasks: Demonstrates a deep understanding of the Federal Civilian marketplace, to include Federal program capture, Federal contracts and compliance, and major agency directives that apply to Federal IT.Develop partnerships, supplier agreements, and sell:to/sell:through sales initiatives targeted to the Federal Systems Integrators (FSIs).Define and execute appropriate sales programs, business development initiatives, and marketing plans aligned to maximize sales and profitability.Develops and leads an impactful learning environment that helps to attract, inspire, develop, and retain top talent.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and staying connected to the Federal OEM community. Assists in the development and closure of strategic pipeline through direct and indirect customer contact and prospecting.Oversee teaming, pricing, and bid strategy in support of new capture and partnering opportunities. Works with marketing, capture, and other technical staff to implement business development initiatives.Proven ability of selling professional and managed services.Strong insights into industry trends for cloud computing, consumption models and creative financing in the Federal market.Strong understanding of selling hardware/software and negotiating/structuring enterprise agreementsActively engaged in pipeline development, opportunity management/forecasting and demand generationFamiliar with OEM business processes negotiating discount structuresExpertise to demonstrate strong presentation skills and lead customer facing meetingsOther business duties as assigned Min Education/Certification/Background Qualifications: Bachelors degree preferredMin of 5yrs of outside selling in the IT market Extensive relationships with relevant technology partners and customersMust be able to proactively network, prospect, and sell to multiple contacts including C levelsDemonstrated consistent and successful achievement of quota versus planThis position has significant incentive opportunity through successful revenue/margin attainment Preferred Education/Certification/Background: Previous federal sales background Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong written correspondence skills requiredUnderstanding of government and technology strongly preferredWillingness to prospect aggressivelyExpertise to create and deliver compelling presentationsCapability to research targets, opportunities, funding streams, etc.Willingness to take direction and learnWork experience of successful sales performance.Essential Elements (Mental; Physical; Equipment used): This position is an office position that requires remaining in a stationary position for multiple hours throughout the workday. This job mandates the expertise to continuously communicate with co:workers throughout the day utilizing Red River approved and/or provided communication tools and equipment. Special Qualifications: This position will operate from the location specified above, with up to 50 travel to customer and partner sites.
