Director, Clinical Operations Boston We are working on behalf of our client to find a Director of Clinical Operations based in Boston. This leadership role involves managing oncology trials, overseeing day-to-day operations, and working closely with both internal teams and external partners in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee clinical trial timelines, risks, and challenges, ensuring accurate and timely delivery Lead cross-functional collaboration to support clinical trial objectives Manage trials from start-up through close-out, ensuring all deliverables are on time and within budget Supervise external partners (CROs) and vendors, addressing issues as they arise Handle contracts, budgets, and trial agreements, ensuring operational excellence Mentor and support junior staff as they grow Requirements: BA/BS in nursing, biology, or related field (advanced degree preferred) 12+ years in clinical research operations, with at least 2 years in oncology Early phase experience, including IND submissions Strong vendor and project management skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and MS Office proficiency Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams This is a pivotal role for a seasoned professional to lead oncology clinical trials in a dynamic and innovative environment.
