Join Olin's team in this exciting leadership role.Title: Director - Bleach Operations EastLocation: Lemont, ILSalary: $195,000 - $217,000 plus additional bonusSchedule: On-Site, 5/8sRelocation AvailableFocus: The Director - Bleach Operations East is responsible for the direction and coordination of all manufacturing activities for Lemont, Illinois and provides guidance and support to the Augusta, Georgia plant. This includes oversight for production, materials, quality control, environmental, health and safety and engineering to produce products in the most cost-effective way while meeting shipping requirements and sales commitments. The Bleach Director oversees the development and execution of the plant vision and strategy to provide short and long term goals for the site. In addition, this role will oversee operability and reliability initiatives for the HyPure® Bleach manufacturing sites.Director, Bleach Operations - East Essential Job Functions: * Accountable for meeting the Lemont plant goals (EH&S, quality, production, cost, raw material variances) and provides oversight and direction for the Augusta facility * Facilitates the implementation of safety, quality, environmental, productivity, or cost control programs into the operational organization. Prioritizes the allocation of resources and provides focus and coaching in areas needing attention * Manages and motivates direct reports; reviews, assesses and provides direct and immediate performance feedback as needed; develops and builds employee skills, professional development and enables employees to optimize their contribution to the plant * Leads the site emergency response team, including being a subject matter expert on all aspects of emergency response and incident command * Leads operability and reliability initiatives for the HyPure® Bleach manufacturing sites * Represents the company on various committees within the local communities and organizations; participates in plant and Division audits, interfaces with internal and external auditors and regulatory and government agency personnelDirector - Bleach Operations - East Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree*; Engineering or other Technical degree preferred * Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing, operations or engineering experience * Prior supervisory experience in manufacturing * Knowledgeable of federal, state, and local environmental and workplace standards as they apply to operating areas, including OSHA, EPA and FRA/DOT * Previous experience/broad understanding of safety systems and enforcement of safety rules and policies * Must be available for on-call as needed * Must be willing and able to travel up to 20% * Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred * Must possess a valid US driver's license and be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)Strong Careers Grow HereRooted in ourcorporate values, Olin continues to be the global leader in both chemical manufacturing and ammunition.
