About our Adult Foster Care division - At Home Living A DSP functions as an advocate, supporter, educator and caregiver to individuals with disabilities. We believe in our clients and their right to live in the least-restrictive environment. We also ensure that the homes they live in allow them to lead fulfilled lives while remaining safe and well-cared-for. Our programs are 4-bedroom residential settings & centered around the individuals we support. Most importantly, the goal is to provide services to enrich the lives of our residents to live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives. Location: Afton, MN Compensation: $16.50-$17.00 Part-Time Hours of Position: 7am-3pm2pm-10pm10pm-8am Every other weekend required Flexible Scheduling Typical Job Duties: Cooking and cleaning Activities of the daily living Medication administration & documentation Socializing with residents (playing games, watching movies, going for walks, bonfires, etc.) Going to appointments & outings with clients (shopping, movies, fishing, etc.) & Most importantly - Making a difference in the lives of others Requirements: 18 years or older Pass a MN DHS Background Study Available to work every other weekend Current Driver's License, Car Insurance, and a Clean Record Benefits: Health Insurance (Full-Time, 1 Year Waiting Period for Part-Time) Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Supplemental Insurance (Short-Term Disability, Life, Accident, Critical Illness) Paid Time Off Performance-Based Wage Increases Employee Assistance Program Must be able to pass a MN DHS Background Check
