Development Chemist : Bridgwater : Permanent : Salary up to GBP28,000 per annum Acorn by Synegie is recruiting for a Development Chemist for a manufacturing company based in Bridgwater. Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Thursday 8.00am : 5.00pm 1 hour unpaid lunch Fridays 8.30am : 2.00pm Duties: Working in a small team, with a 50/50 split of working in an office and laboratory environment. Formulating and, testing and adapting new and existing products. Preparation of written laboratory reports and product evaluations. Preparing samples and documents for customer approval. Evaluating and approval of new and alternative raw material and packaging specifications. Investigate any product and manufacturing non: conformities. Essential Skills: Chemistry degree. You must have work experience or educational background within the chemical sector. Benefits: Central Location 29 days holiday increasing by 1 day every 2 years up to 34 days.
