Developer SeniorLocation: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of the following PulsePoint location. 6335-45 Castleway Ct., Bldg 32, Indianapolis, IN 46250Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pmThe Developer Senior will be responsible for programming on specific application subsets of the company's application portfolio, participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle, typically for an assigned business unit, client program, or corporate department, and utilizing various customer technology platforms.How you will make an impact:* Maintain active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and lead requirements gathering meetings. * Own the change request process and may coordinate with other teams as necessary. * Develop and own a list of final enhancements. * Develop and define application scope and objectives and prepare technical and/or functional specifications from which programs will be written. * Perform technical design reviews and code reviews. * Ensure unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and the system is implemented according to plan. * Assess current status and support data information planning. Coordinate on-call support and ensure effective monitoring of the system. * Maintain technical development environment. * Mentor others and may lead multiple or small to medium-sized projects. * Facilitate group sessions to elicit complex information on requirements clarification, design sessions, code reviews, and troubleshooting issues. Three (3) years of experience in related occupation(s).Additional Requirements:Three (3) years of experience must include: * Three (3) years of experience with IT operations. * Three (3) years of experience with Bootstrap. * Three (3) years of experience with JavaScript. * Three (3) years of experience with AngularJS. * Three (3) years of experience with Java. * Three (3) years of experience with Agile-Scrum. * Three (3) years of experience with multi-database platform and multi-language SQL. * Three (3) years of experience with WebSphere Portal, Content Manager, and Application Server. * Three (3) years of experience with Atlassian JIRA and Bitbucket. * Three (3) years of experience authoring and maintaining Web Services and WSDLs.* ALTERNATE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related, and one (1) year of experience. * Must have one (1) year of experience with each of the above listed skills.* TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Long-term placement at various unanticipated client worksites.This position is part of our NGS (National Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.Please be advised that Elevance Health only accepts resumes for compensation from agencies that have a signed agreement with Elevance Health.
