Job Title: Design Draftsman Pay : $28/Hr. Contract : 1 Year Location : Richmond, VA Job ID : 4024 Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Basic knowledge of drafting principles.- Basic knowledge of building and construction principles.- Good analytical and abstract thinking with the ability to process detailed information.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Excellent computer skills.- Ability to process and understand maps and charts.- Ability to use Microsoft office suite of software.- Ability to use AutoCAD and/or MicroStation drawing software. Duties and Responsibilities :- This role will organize and maintain documents associated with design, engineering and construction within the Power Generation Business Unit- Organizes and maintains drawings, prints, diagrams, word documents and pdf documents.- Works closely with designers, engineers, and power station personnel to find and perform simple drafting tasks and revisions to drawings and documents.- Compiles and organizes submittal drawings and documents from 3rd party vendors and consultants.- Locates, modifies and prints drawings using small and large format plotter.
