A company is looking for a Deputy General Counsel to help run the Legal Department. Key Responsibilities Stay informed on relevant laws and regulations affecting healthcare and advise on compliance Draft policies and disclosures and implement processes to support compliance Provide legal and strategic business advice to internal teams and manage initiatives to achieve business objectives Required Qualifications J.D. degree and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction At least five years of legal experience, preferably in healthcare regulatory matters Experience advising on business and risk mitigation strategies Experience ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions Ability to research and communicate complex legal topics clearly to non-lawyers
