Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our private practice office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting good oral health practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. PPO and fee for service office. Part time position with a set schedule of 16-32 hours a week. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth, Advocating for fluoride varnish, silver diamine fluoride, sealants as preventative care Use Rinn system to take FMX and recall radiographs Comfortable using a portable x-ray unit (i.e. nomad) Perform co-diagnosis by educating and showing patients intraoral photos of problem teeth Review and maintain accurate documentation of patient records in Dentrix Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with dentrix Experience with medical imaging techniques and maintaining medical records will be considered a plus.
