Dental Assistant The Dental Assistant is responsible for providing dental care to patients in a public health setting.This position works under the supervision of a dentist and dental office manager and is responsible for a variety of tasks, including: Driving the company vehicle to the scheduled facility Preparing patients for dental procedures Taking and developing dental X-rays Chairside assisting the dentist or dental hygienist Cleaning and polishing teeth Applying fluoride treatments Instructing patients on oral hygiene Maintaining dental records Dental Assistant Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Active X-ray Certification (or) Active CA RDA license At least two years of experience working in a dental setting (preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team State Driver's License and clean driving record Dental Assistant Benefits: Rate: $25.00-$35.00/hr (very negotiable and based on experience and credentials) Comprehensive benefits package Opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment Chance to make a difference in the lives of patients DENTAL ASSISTANT JOB SUMMARY: Full-Time, Monday-Friday work days, 3 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM (No weekends for a great work-life balance!) Bilingual: 100% Fluency in English and Spanish is required!
