Overview: North Coast Dental Excellence is seeking a skilled and adaptable Dental Assistant Floater to join our dedicated team, providing essential support across our practices in Oceanside and surrounding areas. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in different practice settings while delivering high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: Assist dentists during various procedures, including restorative work, surgery, implants, and endodontics. Prepare, organize, and sterilize instruments and dental equipment, maintaining rigorous infection control standards. Perform dental scanning and imaging with accuracy to support diagnostic processes. Deliver exceptional patient care, providing comfort and guidance throughout treatment visits. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointment coordination as needed. Adapt quickly to different practice environments and actively contribute to a positive team culture. Monitor and manage inventory to ensure all necessary dental supplies are well-stocked. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, with exposure to surgery, implants, and endodontics preferred. Proficiency in dental scanning techniques and imaging procedures. Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program. Valid California Dental Assistant certification/license. Radiography certification preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment and adapt to multiple practice settings.
