Your Responsibilities As a DEI and Onboarding Data Analyst for John Deere World Headquarters located in Moline, IL, you will Assist in the preparation and submission of timely and accurate quarterly and annual reports; collaborate with departments to gather and analyze statistical information. Perform in-depth data analysis, including quantitative, statistical and comparative analysis, to determine patterns and recognize trends; prepare a variety of reports and presentations for business segments, leadership, and clients. Develop questionnaires, reports, and presentations; assist with survey preparation. Translate data into written reports, tables, graphs, and charts - including creative data visualizations to illustrate key findings; interpret data results and articulate pertinent findings and actionable insights. Support the development and refinement of performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of activities; perform ad-hoc analysis to enhance understanding of identified metrics. Acquire, manipulate, aggregate, normalize, and validate data from different sources to derive intelligence. Conduct research to provide insight on the company's performance trends and identified objectives using publicly available industry and system data. Collaborate with colleagues to help design and manage research projects. Support operational functions of the DEI & Onboarding including, but not limited to, Talent Acquisition, Governance, and the DEI Council by providing support for the development, implementation, and analysis of pulse surveys, focus groups, and other quantitative and qualitative data collection activities. Teach and train business and HR partners. Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position What Skills You Need 3 or more years of related experience with strategic initiative project management, process and performance improvement, data analytics, and reporting metrics required. Proven track record with strong written and oral communication, analytical skills, data visualization, and project management skills; high level of attention to detail and accuracy; ability to routinely manage large data sets, required. Familiarity with analytic, business intelligence, and/or data mining tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, or Power BI. Data mining experience – the ability to manipulate, aggregate, and normalize data from different sources to derive intelligence. Ability to lead effectively while being a team player. Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and a demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently while collaborating effectively at all levels of the organization. Strong presentation skills and initiative. Ability to make sound decisions and demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness in handling confidential and sensitive information. Strong problem-solving and data literacy skills.
