We seek a mechanically minded individual looking for an opportunity to join an efficient auto service center team! Our successful automotive technician candidate understands vehicle electrical and computer systems and is able to properly diagnose and fix repairs. If you believe you are the candidate we need, apply today! Responsibilities: • Help establish service protocols for tracking the status of repairs, maintaining relevant technical manuals, using charts, and more for all of our dealerships• Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics • Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes• When needed, conduct routine maintenance such as checking fluids, rotating tires, replacing brake pads, and oil changes• Adhere to manufacturer specifications to maintain vehicle systems and ensure customer satisfaction Qualifications: • Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory• ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive• Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus• High school diploma or GED is required• Experience and background will dictate the hourly wage level.
