Key Duties and Responsibilities: * Positive interaction with Guests and teammates, promoting a friendly environment, attending to Guests' needs in a proactive manner. * Answer Guest questions and resolve any concerns that may arise. * Utilize POS for order entry. Follow all policies and procedures concerning cash handling. Train teammates on proper cash handling procedures. Provide feedback on execution of procedures. * Utilize upselling techniques learned in Culinary Services department training. Ensure teammates are upselling as directed. * Complete food preparation with the use of standard kitchen utensils; including whisks, spoons, spoodles, ladles, and others. Operational duties would include, but are not limited to fry scooping, sandwich preparation, cart operation and operation of various pieces of food preparation equipment. * Utilize thermometers to frequently test and document the internal temperatures of product. Train teammates on proper use of thermometer and completion of temperature log. Perform quality checks as directed by management. * Maintain work locations within Health Department guidelines. Ensure that teammates are following proper hand washing and glove use procedures. * Perform cleaning duties which may require standing, stooping, crouching, and twisting to assure a complete cleaning job. Assign cleaning tasks to teammates, provide feedback, and follow up to ensure completion. * Assist with assembly and serving a quality food product to the Guest in a timely manner. Ensuring that the location has all products that are needed to service the guests. Utilize tools available such as Picture Perfect to train teammates in proper portioning. * Maintain a safe work atmosphere and aid in the elimination of hazards. Utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) when required. Ensures that teammates are using PPE when required. * Complete product orders and receive product from our central warehouse and transferring it into restaurant storage while following all product storage and critical control point guidelines (HACCP). * Opening/Closing the unit which may include placement of supplies, equipment, utensils, stock and any other specific requirements for each unit and work station. Complete opening and closing checklists. * Complete weekly Safety Audit as directed. * Complete all paperwork such as waste logs, transfer forms, and weekly inventory to help manage cost of sales. * Utilize deployment charts to help manage team player productivity and labor cost. * Adherence to company attendance and break policies. Issue coaching/corrective action as needed. * Accurate completion of team player time slips. * Assist unit Supervisor in completing Seasonal Evaluations. * Culinary Services Teammates are required to continuously work outdoors and closely with others. Occasionally will work alone. Must be able to function in all weather conditions for long periods of time. * Other tasks may be assigned by management as business dictates. Reports to: * Supervisor I, II, III * Full time Supervisor * Department Manager Skills and Requirements: * Min Age 16. * Outgoing and friendly demeanor. * Expertise to train and develop others. * Must have strong teamwork skills and the expertise to work with others. * Must possess strong work ethic and the expertise to multi-task. * Able to work effectively in a quick paced environment. * Available to work flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays. * Knowledge of unit operation, previous food service background, demonstrated leadership and management expertise. * Must be able to stand/walk for up to six hours at a time.
