Job Title: CT Technologist Location: McAlester, OK Shifts Available: Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 11:30 PM Overnight, 11 PM to 7:30 AM Salary Range: $28/hour for a new graduate up to $45/hour for a CT Tech with over 20 years of experience Job Description: The CT Technologist is responsible for operating CT equipment to produce diagnostic images that assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions. The role demands a high level of technical proficiency in handling CT machinery and patient care during imaging procedures. Responsibilities: Perform CT scans according to prescribed protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Maintain operational readiness of CT equipment, ensuring all functions are performing in compliance with hospital and health safety standards. Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to interpret scans and determine appropriate diagnostic procedures. Provide care and assistance to patients during CT procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Manage scheduling and workflow efficiently to maximize equipment usage while minimizing patient wait times. Qualifications: Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required. Proven experience as a CT Technologist, with capabilities in a range of procedures and patient care settings. This position is suited for a detail-oriented CT Technologist who is looking for a stable and rewarding career in a healthcare setting that values professionalism and skill in diagnostic imaging.
