Schedule: (M,W, F: 6:45am - 3:15pm and T, TH: 7:15am - 3:45pm) - CRNAs will be required to stay late when needed a few times a week. Weekend Call Requirements: Must be able/comfortable with OB/epidurals, some trauma, simple peds cases, bread and butter stuff to cover call Must stay in Mason City while on call (10 min response time) Must be available to cover 3 weekends per month in 2024 - ongoing Holiday Call Coverage for 2024 - Required Needing holiday call coverage for 2024 as well! Need Fri/Sun and Sat/Mon for Christmas and New Year s Need Thurs/Sat for Thanksgiving holiday Willing to travel someone in and offer additional weekday coverage IF they can offer substantial weekend call coverage Cerner & paper charting Level III The really sick peds and truly complicated trauma is almost always shipped out There is always a physician on 2nd call to back them up if there is overlap in patient volume or if the case is a trauma they don t think they can handle Types of cases: OB, General surgery, GI, Bariatric, Uro, Ortho, Neuro, Cardiothoracic, some ENT (most of it is done at the local ASC), some peds. MercyOne is a Level 3 trauma center, so really complex cases are stabilized then sent to a tertiary center.
