Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a passion for ensuring the reliability of critical building systems? An opportunity has arisen in my clients high performing team as a Critical Services Shift Maintenance Engineer, to play a vital role in maintaining and operating essential mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems that keep facilities running smoothly. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the seamless operation of critical services. Position: Critical Services Shift Maintenance Engineer Location: London Shift: Continental Days and Nights Salary: GBP48,000 : GBP52,000 (flexible dependant on experience) Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on critical MEP systems, including backup power generators, UPS systems, fire suppression, and HVAC systems. Conduct regular checks and tests to ensure the proper functioning of emergency systems and equipment. Collaborate with on: site teams to address maintenance needs and respond to critical service failures. Monitor building management systems (BMS) to identify anomalies and implement corrective actions. Respond to service requests and emergencies promptly, troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimise downtime. Document all maintenance activities, including work orders, service reports, and equipment records. Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients to provide technical support and recommendations. Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs and equipment servicing. Maintain up: to: date knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to critical systems. Qualifications: Relevant technical qualification (e. g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, building services engineering) or equivalent experience.
