The Senior Criminal Defense Attorney will handle a diverse caseload, engage in strategic client interactions, and collaborate closely with a dedicated team of legal assistants and fellow attorneys.Duties:Provide clients with expert legal counsel and draft case-related legal documents.Represent clients in pretrial hearings, advising them on optimal strategies following each appearance.Manage all aspects of court proceedings, including trials, drafting motions, witness interviews, and legal research.Evaluate probable case outcomes through detailed knowledge of legal precedents.Supervise and prioritize a caseload, ensuring efficient case management.Conduct thorough legal analyses to identify case advantages for clients.Gather and compile additional evidence to support clients' cases or counter-prosecution arguments.Prepare clients for depositions, establish clear case strategy goals, and obtain statements from relevant witnesses and experts.Requirements:Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Criminal Defense.Proven expertise in managing complex criminal cases at federal, state, and local levels.Collaborative attitude with a strong team-oriented approach.Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are preferred but not mandatory.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active Bar admission and good standing in California.Certifications:California State Bar license in good standing.Skills:Strong legal research and analytical abilities.Effective oral and written communication skills.High-caliber problem-solving and critical thinking.Client-focused with attention to detail.Job Location:Sacramento, CA
